Guided Tours of the Cemetery
Join one of the regular tours by an expert from The Friends of Kensal Green Cemetery. Further information can be found at Tours (kensalgreen.co.uk).
How to find us:
By car
The entrance to the cemetery is in Harrow Road, only 15 minutes drive from the West End via Edgware Road, and 5 minutes from M40/Westway via Scrubs Lane. The entrance is opposite Hazel Road. There is a car park at the Crematorium. If this is full, you may park on the Cemetery roads as long as there is enough space for other cars to get past you.
Taxis
If you wish to book a taxi to pick you up or drop you off at the Cemetery or Crematorium you will need to book this yourself. There is a useful list of numbers on the Transport for London website here:
Transport for London – Book a Taxi
Makes sure that the taxi driver knows exactly where to meet you or drop you off.
The postcode is generally not useful in this instance as the Postcode covers the entire Cemetery and Crematorium (72 acres).
If you are going to / from the Crematorium, specify that you need to be dropped / picked up in the West London Crematorium Car Park opposite the Crematorium Chapels (near the WEST gate of the Cemetery). The West Gate is near Alma Place.
If you aim to be picked up or dropped off in the Cemetery we would advise that you get picked up/dropped off at the nearest gate to where the funeral is taking place. You can phone us to find out where this will be.
By train
Kensal Green Station is served by both British Rail (Euston/Watford) and London Underground (Bakerloo tine). If visiting the Office, turn left at Harrow Rd and walk downhill towards Ladbroke Grove. The Office is opposite the Post Office Depot. The Office entrance is to the right of the white stone arch. If visiting the Crematorium, turn right at Harrow Road and walk uphill towards Scrubs Lane. The Crematorium entrance is on the left just after the Masons Arms Public House.
